How to disable ClearType for Microsoft Office System 2007

In case the article disappears, here's the steps:

  1. Start -> Run -> RegEdit
  2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common
  3. Add a new DWORD value named "RespectSystemFontSmooth"
  4. Set the value to 1
  5. Close RegEdit
  6. Restart Office.
