Problems with Motown when working logic problems

Consider the lyrics of pop music for a moment.  We assume if there were no mountain between the two of you, Diana Ross would get to you. And we assume that the height of the mountain could prevent her from getting to you.

-If the mountain were high enough, she would not get to you

-If the mountain were not high enough, she would get to you

-If there were no mountain high enough, she would get to you since it would NOT keep her from you.

-If there WERE NOT (ain't) no mountain high enough, she would NOT get to you because it would keep her from you, or

-There IS a mountain high enough to keep Diana Ross from you.

Therefore, you were wrong to expect Diana Ross would cross any mountain to get to you.

At least, until she learns about the advances in air transportation that have occurred in the past 34 years since she released her song. Mt. Everest is between 29,029 (Nepali government) and 29,035 feet (National Geographic Society) high and Boeing 767 airliners routinely cruise between 30,000 and 35,500 and have a service ceiling, of 39,000 feet.

Oddly, from 1985 to 2000, she was married to Norwegian businessman Arne Næss Jr., with whom she has two sons. Næss died in a South African mountain accident in January 2004.

I'm not going to say it.
