After trying for quite some time to break the wireless connectivity on Mac's running 10.5, Apple appears to have finally done it.
On both of my Macs running Leopard I was unable to connect to my wireless using 128-bit encryption and a non-broadcasted SSID. I was able to consistently connect after I broadcasted my SSID - so much for that layer of security. Even after I connected, if I were to stop broadcasting my SSID and attempt to reconnect I still could not connect.
Bottom line: Broadcast your SSID if you are having trouble connecting 10.5.6 to a wireless access point. Then employ some other layers of security.
Hope that helps.
